Domenico Flavoni, President

Domenico is responsible for the overall management and business development of the firm, as well as project management of key projects.

Domenico previously worked with major development firms such as Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang LaSalle), Insignia/ESG (now CBRE), Cross & Brown, and Industry City Associates, where his responsibilities included development, construction, and management operations of a 30 million square foot portfolio of commercial and industrial properties throughout the United States.


Jimie Deliteris, Vice President

As Vice President of Operations, Jimie manages and coordinates projects, subcontractors, and field operations to successfully execute contracted work.

Jimie has over 20 years of experience in building and system operations, construction, and management for various national and international organizations, such as Tishman Speyer Properties, Jones Lang Wootton (now Jones Lang LaSalle), Tower Realty, and CBRE. One of his key projects was acting on behalf of the owner at the AOL/Time Warner Columbus Circle project.

What does a BD Project Manager do?

I generate estimates for bidding and procurement of materials, generate submittals based on project specifications and material cost, develop shop drawings, review project progress, and oversee the delivery of materials. I also coordinate and lead field meetings.

What did you do before joining BD?

I held various positions at construction firms over the past 12 years.

What do you like most about your job?

BD is a great place to work!

What is you education and what certifications do you hold?

I earned my Bachelor of Architecture degree from NYIT and I have OSHA 30 hr. Construction Safety/Health Certification as well as a Scaffold Users Certificate.

What does a BD Assistant Project Manager do?

As an Assistant Project Manager at BD, I handle a wide range of project details, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, HR, assisting executives & project managers, payroll, insurance renewals & requests, training new personnel, accounting and more.

What did you do before joining BD?

I’ve been in the construction industry since 2006. My past responsibilities included blueprint reading, take-offs, accounts payable/receivable, structural steel and rebar experience, and project management experience.

What do you like most about your job?

Every day is different and it is always a challenge!

What about your life outside of BD?

I am a new mother, so my time is currently monopolized by that. Prior to having a child in September 2013 I enjoyed concerts, nature walks and crafts.

Position: Construction Superintendent

What does a BD Construction Superintendent do?

I schedule materials, equipment, & manpower to jobsites. I also make sure all personnel have—and use–their PPE (personal protection equipment). Additionally, I hold weekly toolbox talks and daily huddles on safely and correctly installing materials.

What certifications do you hold?

I hold OSHA 10- & 30-hour Construction Safety and Health Certification, NYC DOB Supported Scaffold User Certificate, Site Safety Manager Certificate, plus, I’m first-aid and CPR trained.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy the challenges of field operation, and get gratification from completing jobs on time and within budgets.

What did you do before joining BD?

I have over 40 years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial construction from start to finish.

What about your life outside of BD?

Outside of work I enjoy fishing and camping.

What does a BD Project Manager do?

Coordinates and negotiates contracts with subcontractors; manages and schedules contractors, purchasing and delivery of materials. I’m also responsible for coordinating site meetings, submittals, schedules, invoicing, and change orders.

What did you do before joining BD?

I have 30+ years experience covering a broad range of construction, environmental, and renovation projects. Prior to joining BD, I developed extensive experience working with government and state contracts; plus I gained in-depth knowledge of construction procedures, building materials, workmanship standards, municipal codes, and safety regulations. I’ve also developed special experience managing a large volume of details without losing sight of overall objectives.

What do you like most about your job?

I really do like all of it, but I seem to have a special talent for averting problems and resolving field issues without delay.

What certifications do you hold?

Master Electrician – Licensed in Nine States, OSHA 30hr.
